Christian Lacroix’s designs are like nothing you have ever seen, they are beautiful, very bold and dazzling, his work just takes your breath away. By looking at his work you immediately come to realize that he is incredibly and passionately talented and has a no bars approach to his creativity. I just love his designs. D.W. Griffith is said to be responsible for inventing the first set of false eyelashes. He came up with the idea to have them made from human hair and attached them to actress Seena Owen’s eyelids to compliment and bring out her eyes more. He was working on the film Intolerance and the year was 1916.

This Burberry summer/spring 08 campaign caught my eye for its modern attitude and how well it represents the Burberry brand. I love it when attitude and technology meet the modern age. Something wonderful just happens and when that is happening in fashion it translates into fashion intelligence. Those are just my thoughts anyway, we all have our own perceptions…

The most amazing things you have read or seen sometimes end up right in your inbox and that excludes the office gossip! I have discovered a site full of the most amazing emails shared between friends and you just have to see it to appreciate it. I saw everything from the most beautiful pictures of China to pictures of beautiful babies made of clay. I even saw amazing pictures of fruit sculptures and comic sketches of babies in the womb.
