Maggie Gyllenhaal was on the red carpet looking somewhat bored but very stylish in a full length dark blue creation at The Dark Knight premiere in Barcelona. Christian Bale and his wife Sibi Bale attended and looked happy despite the media focus on recent matters. Aaron Eckhart was there too and said hi to all the fans who showed up.

Karl Lagerfeld - lifetime achievement award

Karl Lagerfeld was recently awarded with the lifetime achievement award at the Elle fashion star award ceremony in Berlin. Claudia Schiffer presented Karl with the award looking every bit the legendary supermodel in a gorgeous creation, many were there to celebrate with the much loved designer. Below Maria Furtwaengler is pictured looking stunning in a full length gown that dazzles and Eva Padberg is pictured in a sweeping orange colored creation that is beautiful and different from all the rest.

Weekend time, how lovely!

Hi everyone,

It’s nice to be back here, I have been so incredibly busy, I take my role as Mother very seriously. I have received some funny emails. People seem to have confused me with Belinda from Big Brother in the UK, Ha Ha! I’m not the famous Belinda sorry, just Belinda with the column, the gal who likes to spend some of her free time online.

It has been a busy morning doing grocery shopping, whilst standing in the queue waiting to pay, some of the tabloids that were on the shelf at checkout caught my attention. I picked one up and flipped through it, in an instant it occurred to me that there truly is no such thing as celebrities, we are all the same on this planet called earth, each getting by in their own way, some struggling. Some may get plenty attention and be very well known but at the end of the day we are all made of the same stuff. Cellulite, bad relationships, “most beautiful” people snapped without makeup looking vulnerable, it’s all there and when you see it you know that celebrity is just status, nothing more.

Just thought I would share that with you and now I will be off to go pack away the groceries, look at the pictures my kids have drawn and make coffee for my gorgeous husband. I will be back a little later with something else interesting I want to share.
